Field Hockey

Coach Ryan is in her ninth year as Head Field Hockey Coach, bringing more than 18 years of coaching experience to the program. In addition to her leadership of the varsity field hockey team, she serves as the Head Junior Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach and as an Assistant Coach for the Girls’ Lacrosse program during the spring season.

Coach Ryan’s excellence in coaching has been recognized at the state level. In 2025, she received the State Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award for Field Hockey. She is proud to continue a family legacy of coaching, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, the esteemed Jack Ryan, who taught and coached for more than 50 years.

As a student-athlete, Coach Ryan was a four-year letter winner in softball and basketball, and a three-year letter winner in field hockey. During her playing career, she contributed to four district championships, two regional championships, and a state runner-up finish.

Prior to her current role, Coach Ryan served as the Head Softball Coach at Bexley High School for five years and as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Bexley for nine years.
