Our Strength & Conditioning program is an integral part of developing well-rounded student-athletes. Rooted in our Catholic values and commitment to excellence, the program supports students across all of our 25+ athletic teams, helping them grow stronger, faster, and more resilient both on and off the field.

Led by a certified professional, our training approach is designed to enhance athletic performance and reduce injury risk. We serve athletes at all levels and across all seasons-preparing them for competition while also demanding leadership and teamwork.

Coaches Biography

Coach Harris is in his third year as Director of Athletic Performance at Bishop Hartley, bringing more than a decade of coaching experience and a strong passion for strength and conditioning to Hawks athletes. His expertise, commitment to player development, and ability to build student-athletes’ confidence through training have consistently elevated athletic programs year after year.

In addition to leading the strength and conditioning program, Coach Harris has experience across levels from youth to professional athletics. He previously worked at St. Francis DeSales High School, overseeing conditioning for football, volleyball, wrestling, and girls lacrosse. He also spent time at Ohio Dominican University, where he led the football program’s strength and conditioning efforts.

Coach Harris’s resume also includes notable team and athlete achievements. He contributed to a state runner-up football team in 2020, a Final Four girls volleyball team, and the development of two state champion wrestlers. Before beginning his coaching career, he played Division I-AA football at the University of Rhode Island and Youngstown State University.
